Make it a cocktail hour to remember

INGREDIENTS

½ cup homemade blackberry-strawberry jam

2 oz. fresh lime juice

4 oz. Cointreau

6 oz. tequila

1 tablespoon kosher salt

1 tablespoon sugar

lime wedges

Margaritas are loved because they’re big, boozy and infinitely customizable. Classically made with only three ingredients, margaritas are great about taking on fun additions to change up the flavor, like spicy peppers or tropical fruit.

Our margarita adds homemade blackberry-strawberry jam, which brings sweetness, tartness and a chunky fruitiness to the drink.

Step One. Get your service area ready

Mix salt and sugar on a small plate. Rub rim of cocktail or working glass with lime wedge and dip in salt. If you are using working glasses, fill with ice.

Step Two. Make cocktails

Combine blackberry-strawberry jam, fresh lime juice, Cointreau and tequila into a large cocktail shaker with ice. Cover and shake until frosty. Pour into prepared glasses.

Prepare margaritas ahead of time and keep them in a pitcher in the refrigerator for BBQs and dinner parties, pouring them on demand. The blackberry-strawberry jam can be replaced with any homemade preserve that you may have on hand.
